CURRENT MISSION

I love traveling and right now I'm taking my first international solo trip to Ecuador. I've done the solo road trip around Western States, but it is seems more exciting to go international! I've got some time on my hands between jobs right now and I've been itching to return to South America after a great trip to Peru.

ABOUT ME

Hello! I have used Couchsurfer while traveling with my good friend a few times, but I had never built out my profile until now. I live in San Jose and I have traveled to Peru, Mexico, Canada, UK, Ireland, Dubai, Doha, France, Spain, Italy, Hungary, Belgium, Holland, India, Vietnam, Thailand and Western Australia. I look forward to growing that list and hopefully meet more amazing folks along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've surfed in Australia and then on a road trip in the states and it was a great experience. I love meeting people when I'm traveling, especially hospitable fun people. I haven't used this in the last few years, because most of my travels were with family or a group of friends.

I'm traveling to Ecuador for about 20 days though on my own, so figured it's a good time to get back to couchsurfing.

Interests

I enjoy live music, hiking, traveling and meeting new people. I've been taking improv classes lately which have been a lot of fun.

Music, Movies, and Books

A Fine Balance and Rain of Gold are two of my favorite books. I prefer alternative rock and lately some EDM, country and pop music. I love live music of most kinds. Movies- so I'll watch a movie here and there, preferably a comedy or action film, but I have a lot of catching up to do.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm sure it's amazing, but it's definitely been fun and brings smiles to my friends faces. I try to do a goofy personalized New Years Card for my friends and family each year. Why have the same happy family and puppy cards plastered on your fridge or mantle, when you can have an 80's retro glam picture of me?
