Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first time as a CS host was a magical experience! I have hosted numerous times since then and sometimes had my mind blown. I surfed with 3 different hosts on a glorious road trip, and it was absolutely delicious--so much more warm & interesting than crashing in motels or even hostels! Since then i've also had amazing hostesses in Indian cities--truly the way to take on Mumbai or Delhi, it turns out, and in one case i made an ally for life!

Once in the African city of Fez i wound up being taken in very suddenly by a Moroccan family. It was an absolutely incredible experience--so much better than anything i might have drummed up by the more standard tourist routes. I had been warned against Morocco, and thus my time there became the first truly outstanding evidence for me that fearmongering is generally just bullshit & rumor. This couchsurf, as it were (i had a bed), was one of the major influential events of my life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Guatemala i lied that i knew how to operate a motorcycle, rented one for $6/hour, and had the time of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a mini genius for "resource management," resulting in things such as a $37 airfare across 12 timezones from Louisiana to Mumbai. I am happy to share my knowledge about livin' phat for less. I was a student of Process Work. I have a inner grasp of the Law of Attraction teachings from which i seem to be able to offer clarity and dispel confusion. I give intuitive astrological, card, and dream readings. I teach Yin Yoga. I can install lovely feathers in your hair. I inadvertently inspire, from what i hear, but in the end i guess that's what i most like to do!
