About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Embrace my escapist nature, study yoga, practice asanas, write about all things reduced consumption.
ABOUT ME
I'm freshly returned from teaching Yoga at the All Good Music Festival, and that time in the bubble on Marvin's Mountaintop motivated me to appease my wanderlust. So I purchased a one way ticket to the Bay with little in the way of a plan other than explore around from couch to crash until I find a new town to fall in love with call home.
I'm a freelance writer (see below for the links to my couch surfing story) and yoga teacher. I'm glad to offer up free yoga lessons for beginners or just someone new to practice with for more experienced yogis.
"I like too many things and get all confused and hung-up running from one falling star to another till I drop. This is the night, what it does to you. I had nothing to offer anybody except my own confusion." - Jack Kerouac
PHILOSOPHY
Everything was beautiful and nothing hurt.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I wrote a story for Brokelyn.com about Couch Surfing, which was later linked to by the New York Times. There was some heavy handed editing by my overseer, so the story didn't exactly come out how I intended, but hopefully it spread the message in a positive way.

I host anytime I can, but life is a bit unstable so I'm often lacking a couch to offer. But I'm glad to show anyone around when they're visiting.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Amazing experiences. I stayed with to different hosts in Mexico and they both showed me an unforgettable time. And as mentioned above, surfed my way around Brooklyn, woohoo.
