We are a husband and wife from Colorado. We love beer and have been homebrewing for several years. We also love the outdoors and have hiked 14 14,000ft high mountains between us. Cameron is an avid skier. Dee-dee is almost always balls deep in research. We may be American, but we aren't big fans of guns and are quite liberal in our views. We have two kids 15 and 9yrs old. They are away for the summer and won't be travelling with us. We also have 3 cats but like other animals as well.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

We are on couch surfing because Dee-dee had an amazing experience couch surfing in Ireland some years ago and we really want to see the places we travel from a local perspective. Dee-dee has also applied to graduate programs abroad and part of this trip is to see places and make friends in a place we may be living soon.

This section is kind of tough. We like a very wide variety of music in most genres and are always open to finding new stuff. We don't watch too many movies but we both really like Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy. As for books, I (Dee-dee) recently read The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck and it was amazing. I read a lot of historical fiction and assigned school readings which are usually pretty interesting. Cameron doesn't read much but he likes Ismael.
