Overview
About Me
Hello! I'm an orthopaedic surgeon from México. I am currently doing my fellowship in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery. I love to travel but don't have much time to do so, which means that I travel when I can, while I can! That often means last minute plans and bookings, which can be a lot of fun or a bit of a headache.
I have two cats. No children.
I'm highly allergic to cigarette smoke + tar, so please refrain from writing if you smoke and know that you won't be able to smoke around me at all.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It seems like an amazing way to travel more and make new friends! Also, having people from other countries visit your own, makes you appreciate it more, since you get to see it from their point of view and it often happens to be so that they find the extraordinary in things you had taken for granted.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a terrible Latina who doesn't know how to properly dance salsa.
I like jazz and old school rock like AC/DC, Queen, The Beatles, Eric Clapton and so on.
On book terms I love murder mystery books and detective novels, big fan of Charles Finch.
I like to read comic books, my favourite writer is Alan Moore.
My favourite movie is V for Vendetta.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelled to Aruba and stayed there for months with people I had met twice in a Kendo tournament. One day we jumped from a bridge into the open sea. It was extremely freeing!
Teach, Learn, Share
I like meeting new people and cultures. I'd love to learn all about you and have fun! I'm pretty decent at languages and even though I might not be fluent in many languages I am a fast learner. I like it when people also get interested in my language and we learn something together.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a decent cook and barista: my cuban grandmother taught me how to make a mean Mojito.
Also, I'd love answering that weird medical question that has been bugging you and were too shy to ask your doctor about.
