My name is Deimante, I am an easy-going, cheerful, dream-chasing and life-loving person living in Kaunas, Lithuania. I fluently speak English and Lithuanian and now I am learning German and Spanish as well. My dream is to learn French one day.
I live near the center of my city so you can reach almost every place going by foot. Of course you can take a bus or a taxi. The bus stop is only few minutes walk.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love sharing different cultures, and meet new friends.
I believe that CS is the best way to meet some crazy, like-minded and interesting people. This the main reason I am here.

Interests

Travelling.
Well I have something like a rule - to travel somewhere at least one time a year and can say that's working even better than I expected. I've visited many southern countries and especially like Spain. I even had a chance to live there for summers in a row and can say that this was great experience. I also believe that travelling makes our personalities better cause in this way we learn about other cultures , we learn we main rules and that's most important we learn how to communicate with different people in different situations.
Sport.
Well I am doing sport all my life. It's a part of my lifestyle, it's a part of my free time activities and of course it's a part which makes me feel alive and healthy. I've tried lots of sports till I found the one. So now I am doing orienteering sport. Sometimes it sounds crazy to take a map, compass and run more than 7 km in the forest through the hills,swamps, rivers and everything you can find there. But I can ensure it's the best I could find and I definitely recommend to try this someday. Or I can show you the main principals during your stay. I also play tennis, volleyball, football and others. And as I am in love with sport and study medicine I am planning to take sports medicine in my future so I can have both of things I love. So take a chance to learn about nutrition, sports technics, trauma prevention and other things I can explain you.
Art.
I love being in a rush, planning every second and taking all the chances to spend the day thoughtfully but sometimes I love just sit in one place, turn on the music and relax by taking some brushes and colors...then I paint. I have some huge paintings I made and I even had sold some of them. I also draw with pencils, pastels and ink.
Friends.
I'm a very talkative person and the thing a hate the most is being alone for a log time. I love making knew friends, going out with them, sharing our experiences and doing crazy things.I believe that only communicating makes us better and lets us enjoy the life.

I have something like a theory that the less time we spend at home and the less time we have, the longer and happier we live and only then we can say that we are taking from life everything we can :))

I'd like to learn, as much as my life allows me, all I can about any corner of this huge world, its population and their culture! I'm kind a person who always lives every moment and try to remember everything, cause I believe that life is giving us lots of chances to enjoy it , the only condition is - to take and try it.
I wanna share my experience with you, my time, and a smile! It's great having amazing people as friends from all over the world.
