I have Couchsurfed as a guest several times with one friend or another (always using their profile as my duties were to organise transport!) I believe it's an amazing way to really experience a place and to make great, long-lasting memories over stories, laughs, a bike ride, hike, drum lesson, a beer or a meal with a host. The world is full of interesting people and stories!
