Life has thaught what little we know. We like to meet people.
I prefer not to describe myself, to do so becomes egotistical.
We like positive uplifting people. Witty but serious. Willing to push themselves for some new adventure or event in life

Happiness is not having what you want, it is being happy with what you have.

Give and it shall be given unto you.

Treat someone as you would like to be treated yourself!

If you do not like what you see or hear walk away and have no more to do with the person.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The only time I would have for serious interaction and chat is the week end, this is the reason I would offer my home, I like a good conversation.
At least a weeks notice would be appreciated but if somebody is found short just please ask I will try to help.

The people who we have met and been hosted by have shown such goodwill and generosity while those who we have hosted have enlightened our days with diversity and different experiences

Intereses

Though life has taken a new twist or turn I was very keen on hiking and seeing parts of Europe that are not on the mass tourist map!
Meeting people to exchange ideas and culture.
To experience new people, cultures and landscapes so that I may become more complete.
I have an interest in photography and architecture and all thing nice!

some Celtic music, Ballads easy listening. I find it difficult to hold my attention to read a book!

Change from a lifestyle of ever running and never catching up to a more elementary lifestyle of making do with what we have.
Now to going back on the tread mill working long days to prove it can be done!

To help improve somebodys spoken English in return for them helping me with Spanish preferably or some other language spoken in Europe.
Somebody who will broaden my outlook as there is so much to learn and so little time.

I can help with recommendations of the gems to go and see that are not so high on the tourist trail. Where time passes slowly by.....!
