About Me

CURRENT MISSION

don't ever stop dreaming

ABOUT ME

I am a solitary soul who loves to be with other people. Doesn't make sense? Probably it doesn't but here I am! I can be quite silent and introvert, but I also love to have fun with other people and especially learn from them. I like to talk about nothing, but I also love to discuss what's wrong in this world and what should we do about it. I love to be out in the wilderness, alone or together with people who share my same feeling. I see nature as the perfect art, something unreachable for any artist. I love being at gigs although I haven't see that many of good ones. I am quite tolerant and very adaptable. Honestly, I can't stay in the same place for too long, I need to keep moving around the world. That does not help in building up relationships, but I am quite good in keeping contact with the people I love.

PHILOSOPHY

I have 1 dogma in my life: nothing should be a dogma. everything relates to the moment, the place, the people around you. I simply respect everything and everyone in my life, and expect only respect in exchange. I have my ideas, no matter how contradictory they can be! I just wanna live and enjoy my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did not have many, mainly because in the last few years, since I've been a member, I lived in places where it was either not possible to host people, or nobody wanted to visit those places!

Interests

Learn new crazy and useful tools. Listening to music. Discussing politics and how we should try to change the world. Science and its discoveries and contradictions. Traveling and getting to know new cultures. Love to play basketball and soccer, too.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am mainly a Rock and Roll guy. I also like influences of other types of music mixed with rock, like electronic, indie-rock, country-rock. I essentially think that today's music has too much of rock and too few of roll.
Movies? Well it could be a very long list, but probably two of my favorite movies are Blade Runner and No Country for Old Men. I like stories which show me the everyday life, the everyday people. Ok Blade Runner is probably not that kind of movie, but who cares, is just great! I used to read a bunch of books every month, but now that I am serious working man my time got restricted a bit...The Road from Cormac McCarthy is the last great book that I read, oh no wait, that was Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee, a historical book by Dan Brown about native americans.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Hiking up a volcano in the middle of the night.
2. Driving on a lonesome road towards the Irish sea.
3. Being at a concert of Patti Smith.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach a bit of Italian if you're interested in. I can play guitar and love to cook for other people. I would love to learn to cook dishes from other countries, and learn how to use new practical tools. The last one that I learned to use is an apple peeler which can also take the inside seed away. Generally I like to share ways of doing practical things, from drilling a hole to mounting snow chains on car. Our generation has lost that ability, we are only able to open and use a new social network account.
