After the death of my mother and break-up with my girlfriend I decided there were 3 things I could do: 1) Get depressed, 2) Do nothing and continue as is or 3) Grab the opportunity, be positive, quit the job and live life Right Now. I opted for 3!!

ABOUT ME

I love to challenge myself intellectually (and be challenged!). Also I love to be physically active. Think mountainbiking, running, yoga.
I love Asia, budhhistic thinking and compassion.
I'm a "green" consumer, trying to be thoughtfull of the environment with every action I take.

PHILOSOPHY

Death might be life's single greatest invention. If you'r e not afraid of, but are aware of, the concept of death, you don't procrastinate and live life with gratitude and joy.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had many great encounters thanks to couchsurfing. Everybody brings their own interesting story, but also everybody has one thing in common: an open live-and-let-live attitude. I love that!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Queensday in Amsterdam, party in front of the Hells Angels café...... Can't tell you what I saw there...not over the internet, that is :)

Doing the highest bungeejump in the world, @ bloukrans brug on the garden route in South Africa. It was amazing to do and I secretly released some of the ashes of my mother....Felt great!!
