Overview
About Me
Hi, I'm Deka from Indonesia!I'm originally from West Sumatera, but I've been living here and there in Indonesia, including Jogjakarta and Jakarta. Currently, I've been living in Sweden for the past two years to study for master degree's in Uppsala Uni.
I am an outgoing person, and enjoy every little things that life has to offer. I used to do touring with my old Vespa across provinces in Indonesia and set up a tent wherever we like it. I love scuba diving, still learning freediving, and amateur surfer. Play guitar and perform now and then..
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Some people say, travelling in Europe is a privilege, not everyone- especially people from Asia or other developing countries - has the financial or time do it. Secondly, "Asian tourists" have garnered unsavoury reputation of being antisocial or moving in herds with tour guides. I'm not planning to fit to that stereotype.
I want to meet and make good conversations with all different people from different countries, cultures and ethnicities. Nothing beats local knowledge about which pub we should visit, what kinda of local foods that we should try, or cook! I really love exchanging recipes from my friends and guests of my house.
