I am a very open minded person who likes to travel and meet new people from all different cultures and countries. I am definitely not shy and sometimes I ask a lot of confusing questions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Mostly surfing peoples couches, co hosted for a while in Vienna, went to a few Meetings and always tell friends and other travellers about this amazing opportunity!! Definitaly wanna host again once I move to England end of 2011.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed for the first time in Norway and Denmark in 2008, continued in Austria and co hosted there as well, surfed heaps in Australia 2009/10 and shared rides during traveling in Oz too.

Music, Movies, and Books

movies: dont have a favorite one (maybe the Lord of the Rings trilogy), like to laugh a lot, so basicially comedies and also scary movies
music: Die Ärzte (Germany), everything you can dance to (especially rock and hiphop), love to go to different festivals
books: "Into the Wild", favorites are "Schindler´s List" and "The diaries of Anne Frank", at the moment I enjoy getting onto the "classics" like Jules Vernes pieces

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw a blind guy rolling a joint... awesome!!!!
I was in the earthquake in Iceland in May 2008.
Norther Lights and Midnight Sun in Iceland

Done? Hm... Ran naked to the cigarettes-automat to buy cigarettes. In winter. And snow.
A roadtrip with my dutch friend Lydia from Iceland by ferry passing Faroer Islands, through Norway and Denmark. This was in last winter, we just had little money, didnt know where to go and what to do but collected amazing experiences! And we invited ourselves to a funny Halloweenparty in Bergen. :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach to be rock´n´roll. :D
I want to learn different phrases in certain languages, mainly of course of those countrys I´ll go to visit.
Travelling means for me also sharing all kinds of perspectives of living, enjoying live and get a different view on everything.
