About Me

*****

I am an artistic soul and an autonomous woman, I'm 100% pro LGBTQIA+ rights, anti-fascist socialist and if you're not a leftist don't get anywhere near me! I love watching a variety of films, I try to read as much as I can but I don't think books measure intelligence anymore. I am currently studying anthropology at a public university, I'm a cook and I play synths in a punk band. I'm very interested in learning new local recipes. I love to meet new people, it is very magical when you travel by yourself and you realize how well-intentioned and open-hearted people are, I am always longing for my next trip.

I am obsessed with playlists and listening to music all day long, punk music for rainy days, dub and reggae for the beach, folk to listen by the riverside and a gooood 90's house music for a bike ride 😎

PHILOSOPHY

I don't believe that someone has to go to college to have a ''normal'' life, people can live off the records and in ways that don't fit regulations, traditions, and western standards, we have to be more understanding and open about that, it's our loss to keep shut in our comfort zones, always!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've had lots of luck by being hosted by great people from big families to students, squats and single moms. I've hosted people outside of couchsurfing from Argentina and other cities of Brazil and here i've been pleased to meet such wonderful and trustyworthy friends, that's what keeps me hopeful on finding nice people when i'm travelling and people who need a couch to crash on

Interests

****Arts in general - I absolutely love cinema, it has changed my life deeply
I love painting and watercolour, I am interested in holistic therapies especially the ayurvedic tradition, which is growing here in Brazil. It doesn't mean that i'm a square thoooo I am up for partying as well, it's all about balance.
When I travel and I have a little extra money I usually dig old record stores, small markets to buy local food and sauces to bring home or go to small underground film festivals but mostly I travel on a low-budget, making the most of it . I love to travel to big cities that I get lost easily as i am bound to go to nature and look to the sky for hours, eat a lot of camping food, go hiking and swimming in waterfalls.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once went alone to camp by the beach in a town 8 hours from mine taking a lot of street buses to get there (which took 16 hours total) the last bus left me on the middle of a dark unknown highway at 00h and the driver told me to search for the camp sign which I didn't found. I was beginning to be afraid but suddenly this black cat came out of nowhere and started climbing on top of me and asking me to pet him, at first I didn't gave him much attention but he was too insistent. I began to play with him and totally forgot the situation I was in, i just had my bag, the cat and a lantern and then started singing and acting like a fool when suddenly this motorcycle came outta of nowhere too - the cat instantly vanished and I froze but he was a very sweet guy and indicated me the way I had to go, 10 minutes later I was at the beach very safe. Later I heard that everyone who came by car got lost there, and if the bus driver had left me 2 km away from the camping sign I would be in the middle of a hike to a waterfall.

After that experience I began to realize how things does not happen by coincidence at all.
