My family and friends are very important to me. I'm not a big partier, but love interacting with new people. I'm easy going and am known to have a good sense of sarcasm (I'll let you be the judge of that...), and I love hearing the stories of others.

To sum it up, I'm a happy person who is passionate about the life I live and those I get to share it with.

I am an outdoors enthusiast and I am pretty athletic. I climb, ski, mountain bike, hike, canyoneer, and any other activity that merits a trip to the mountains or desert! I la-la-la-love to cook, especially ethnic foods, and am always looking for new recipes!

Strangely enough, I also love to sew and craft. I'm an avid puzzle-doer and board game player, and I really enjoy reading when I have the time.

Last but not least, I love to travel. I love getting lost in a new city and somehow finding myself. The people that I meet on my adventures never cease to amaze me, and I am always grateful for the random kindness of a stranger. I like to blog and photo journal about my experiences because it preserves the moments I want to capture forever.

The summer of 2015, I was privileged enough to discover India by train as a solo traveler after finishing a volunteer internship at a rural school. I met incredibly kind people who always went out of their way to help me, and I learned the profound sentiment that a cup of chai can have.
