About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Get a master degree... and then figure out what to do with my life (bracelets in a beach being the nicest option)

ABOUT ME

Sooo I am Spanish but I lived a bit here and there, being now in Brussels which is probably one of the most underrated cities I have heard of! That is one of my things: I adapt to places and to people and I try always to see the best in everything. So yes, I guess I am an optimist... or at least a pretty chill person, eager to meet people from all around the world, or not even that far away, you can come from my village, if you want!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had the most amazing Carnaval in Recife thanks to the kindness of a couchsurfer that i will never forget

Interests

I really do enjoy cinema and music, and the city I live in always offers different festivals where I can enjoy them, so I'd like to show this to anyone who comes. I'm really into music and when I was in Brazil it was like paradise: MPB, brazilian rock...

Now here in Brussels there are plenty of thing to do too. I confess I don´t know everything yet but I'll be happy to discover them.

If you are looking for shows here, is the right place to be though, pretty cheap and all the great bands come!

Oh and appart from that, I'm always up for a beer, a coffee, or which ever social activity comes to my mind!/

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I love cinema. Worst of it is that I can watch anything, from a blockbuster movie to a weird introspective korean one. I really like italian and french cinema. I'm getting to know brazilian one. We can have loooong conversations about Almodovar. I don't know what's my favourite movie.. I'd say To Save Recruit Ryan + Love Actually + Terraferma + Au Revoir les enfants + Gran Torino + Pride and Prejudice (that's weird!)

Music: I have always been into rock music but I am now open to all kinds of music (althought I still don't understand mainstream RnB music...). My favourite bands come from the punk scene, such as Dropkick Murphys or Flogging Molly, but I really do appreciate Brit Rock and Indie and... oh well yes hipster music. I'm getting to know electro music, and I specially appreciate british dj's. I love spanish rumba, such as delinquentes, muchachito bombo infierno, or more typical Estopa. And then there is Brazilian music! My favourite? Caetano, Cazuza, Legião, Pato Fu...

Books: This I can't summarize. I love to read, from classic litterature (yes, I know it's typical, but, still, I love Jane Austen, the Bronte sisters, Zola...) to modern one, authors such as Reverte, Vargas Llosa...
