My name is Delini and I am 30 years old. I am half Sri Lankan and half German, I was born and raised in Germany. I lived in Wales for a while (I went to school there) and i lived in the Netherlands ( I studied there).
Currently I am living in Cologne.
I would describe myself as a very open-minded, cheerful, friendly and adventurous soul. I value honesty and respectful behaviour towards others. I have lived in flat share/shared flat for about 12 years by now , so I am use to living with people together.

Ich bin offen, freundlich, ehrlich und mir ist Respektvoller Umgang mit anderen sehr wichtig. Ich habe in etwa 12 Jahre WG Erfahrung bis jetzt gesammelt (diese nicht nur in Deutschland) . Dadurch habe ich natürlich auch viele Erfahrungen gesammelt und viel gelernt. Und ich bin es gewöhnt mit Menschen zusammen zu leben. Derzeit lebe ich in Köln.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to start travelling more again. In the past I had the tendency to live in other countries rather then to travel them. I'd like to change that. And most of the time I will be travelling on my own so I thought that it would be nice to meet people this way and make some experiences that I wouldn't make if I stayed in a Hotel.

Ich würde gerne wieder mehr reisen. In der Vergangenheit habe ich eher die Tendenz dazu gehabt in anderen Ländern zu leben anstatt sie zu bereisen, dass würde ich gerne ändern. Auch werde ich wohl die meiste Zeit beim reisen alleine sein, also wäre das eine tolle Art Leute kennen zu lernen. Zudem kommt das die Erfahrungen die ich so sammeln kann mehr und andere sind als die, die ich in einem Hotel machen würde.

Music, Movies, and Books

Privat I'd like to listen to rock music. From Mumford & Sons to Rush. There are so many fractions in rock music i like. When i am out with friends, I listen to pretty much every thing, I rather have a good time with my friends then just the music that I listen to and my friends unhappy.

I tend to watch action movies when I watch movies. Comic (book) adaptation, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, that sort of thing.

I like books that tend not to take themselves to serious. Crime fiction and fantasy would be names of the genres I read, with autors like Terry Pratchett, Ben Aaronovitch, Nicci French, Simon Beckett and Christopher Moore.
