ABOUT ME

i'm an editor living in chicago with a minor obsession with food and travel. i've turned one of those into a profession, which i use money from to afford the other. basically, i'm a professional fat ass. i love meeting new people and learning about them, especially about food (home cooking and traditions are really interesting to me, go figure). i love biking, hiking, walking, drinking, laughing, crafting, making art, listening to music, being happy, keeping busy, and coffee, coffee, coffee.

chekhov, borges, henry miller, bukowski, kafka, kundera, and i'm a fan of short stories. favorite music ranges. currently listening to a lot of sonic youth, john cale, lou reed, david bowie, t.rex, talking heads, etc. my roommate says all of my movies are depressing.

i climbed the masada at sunrise in israel. not only was it an incredible experience, it was probably the first time i've done anything at sunrise aside from sleeping.
