About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Back in Bremen for a few years now and happy to host.
ABOUT ME
Warm-hearted, curious, happy, reliable, always trying to stay open-minded.
I love hanging out with my friends and family, they are very important to me - but I also enjoy meeting new people.
Just like most people here on couchsurfing, I also love to travel - there are still a lot of places that I want to discover. :)
Before Covid, my work as a tour guide took me to the most beautiful spots all over Southern Africa. Now I'm back to Bremen, enjoying the benefits of a slightly more stable life.
PHILOSOPHY
Enjoy life.
Be tolerant and stay open-minded!
Don't judge.
Get out of your comfort zone - that's where true experiences happen!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I enjoy getting to know other people and learn about their life, country, culture etc.
I hope to meet up with other couchsurfers from the community on my travels, I already did this in the past and it was always a lot of fun. :)
Interests
I love to cook! And I don't mind a glass of good wine to go with the food.
Photography is another hobby of mine and I enjoy Geocaching (GPS treasure hunt) and good music. I like to spend time outdoors, so every now and then I go for a walk or a hike or a bike ride.
One of my main interests of course is to travel as much as possible!

Music, Movies, and Books
I LOVE music and I couldn't go a single day without it! I mostly listen to different kinds of rock music, metal and some folk and medieaval. Sometimes I also listen to a little jazz, dance and pop music.
Good movies are always great, but since I get scared very easily I don't like horror movies.
I love reading books but sadly I usually never have enough time to do it. As of 2015, I've challenged myself to read at least a few pages every day - it's going well so far! :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living in Sydney, Australia, for two months was definitely one of my life's highlights! The family and "host sister" and all the other people I got to know there really changed my life. As of 2014, I've managed to return to Australia to visit them and also travel around the country for 5 weeks.
In 2015, I spent the whole summer volunteering in a refugee camp in my city. It was exhausting work, but at the same time extremely rewarding to get in touch with all those people.
One of the coolest places I've been to so far was the ancient city of Petra in Jordan - it's even better than in the movies!
In 2016, I've moved to Southern Africa and it's been the experience of a lifetime!
Teach, Learn, Share
I think I'm quite a good cook so I could share and teach some of my favourite recepies.
Also, Geocaching (GPS treasure hunt) is a hobby of mine. I'd be happy to introduce you to it, it's a fun way to spend time outdoors.
I learned ballroom and latin dancing for five years, so if you're a good dancer I'd love to dance again.
