About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To enhance my global citizenship through travel, language, and culture.
ABOUT ME
I'm an undergraduate student at the University of Guelph, studying psychology. I'm busy but flexible. My nature is to be messy and easy-going but I work hard to be responsible and try to stay organized.
I generally have an open mind, I like to meet new people and I'm always up to hang out and go on adventures. I am definitely a people person, I prefer to spend time with others rather than by myself.
I really value creativity, compassion and understanding, dedication, and hard work in myself and others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
New to CS, so far I have only hosted 1 surfer. Looking forward to hosting more, and doing some surfing myself in the future.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far I have only one CS experience; hosting a surfer from Wroclaw, Poland. He stayed with me for 4 nights over a weekend. We headed to Toronto to hit up a film at the Toronto International Film Festival (for free! - I have connections), went to a club, and stayed with some friends downtown. We also hung out around Guelph and went to a free concert at Guelph Jazz Festival's Nuit Blanche, and then spent the next day in Niagara Falls.
Interests
Not surprisingly, as a psychology student, I am truly interested in the way people think, feel, behave, and relate to one another.
I'm also intrigued by business, and I have a love of everything vintage, so I have my own shop online where I sell vintage clothing and household items.
I also love animals and I have had many pets over the years.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies:
My favourite director is Wes Anderson. My favourite movies are The Royal Tennenbaums and Clerks (directed by Kevin Smith).
Music:
I like jazz, hip-hop, club/dance, drum and bass, folk, and prog/classic rock. I can listen to Simon & Garfunkel anytime any day.
Books:
One of my favourite authors is Douglas Coupland (Canadian). His novels are easy to read and always hold my interest. I also enjoy sci-fi and non-fiction.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This past summer I amazed myself by overcoming my fear of heights multiple times: I went cliff jumping, walked a high-wire, and flew on a trapeze.
