I am small and I talk too much. I have a habit of getting into arguments with strangers on the internet, although I don't spend that much time looking at pictures of cats.

I have no time for people who claim to be 'extraordinary', 'unconventional', 'crazy', 'different' and so on.

(but - don't come near me if you describe yourself as "crazy" or a "legend", or if your bro describes you as this. I don't want to know you - experience tells me that you probably aren't anywhere near as crazy or legendary as you think you are)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It's a very good question.. I try to make sure that people coming to Poznan feel welcomed, and I also teach them ridiculous English idioms that they can cherish for the rest of their days ;)

Apart from this - I don't know. I don't particularly like the idea of sleeping at other peoples places, it isn't for me. So sorry, I'll never sleep on your couch - but we can still be friends, right?

But I love to meet people. As long as they aren't "crazy". I also don't want to ever, ever hear about how CouchSurfing is your religion, or how you went to a "wild couchsurfing party" (let's be honest - it probably wasn't wild at all). I also have little time for people who go on "volunteering" trips to "save the world" - sorry, but that flight to your obscure destination probably hurt the world more than you saved it. In short, I like ordinary people who live ordinary lives. I also have no time for reference whores (you know who you are) - begging people to be your "friend" on CS and begging them to leave you a reference although they barely know you - really. It's even more pathetic if you're middle aged or older.

And well, I'm one of the organisers of the weekly meeting in Poznan. Meaningless, of course - the meetings would be nothing without the members. The day that I forget this is the day that I stop organising the meetings.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Meetings, parties, meetings, parties...floor (and yet - never crazy - we don't do "crazy" here).

Talking! And making fun of the world around me. If you can't do that, what's the point in living? Life is there to be laughed at, after all...

I'm also incredibly fascinated in people and their behaviour in different situations - call me a wannabe psychologist! One of my favourite days ever was spent in London just watching people and how they act...

Oh jeez...I love history books, I'm starting to become obsessive about German cinema, but really, I have just such ridiculous tastes that it's impossible to list! Try me...I might know, I might not, but I'd like to know.

Music wise - really, everything. Except Dubstep.

I have witnessed people who really suck in English being able to communicate with me after a few months. It never ceases to amaze me - and I only wish I could do the same in Polish.

I can teach total beginners in English. I can't teach intermediate-upwards students at all. Or maybe I can these days...I don't know ;)

(yes, if someone wants to teach me Polish, they are more than welcome..I am shamefully terrible in languages)
