About Me
Very proud of my 0% response rate right now :I
“Traveling outgrows its motives. It soon proves sufficient in itself. You think you are making a trip, but soon it is making you - or unmaking you.” - Nicolas Bouvier, The Way of the World
---
I'm the independent traveller type, chasing the wild, the weird and the beautiful, and passionate for learning. I enjoy hiking, cycling, being outside, moving slowly, trains, good food, doing things with my own hands. Getting lost. Learning languages. Reading books. Vipassana. Disrupting and deconstructing, challenging the system and thinking critically.
I am a fervent supporter of agroecology and rewilding. Authors and thinkers that have inspired me include Satish Kumar, Vandana Shiva, Masanobu Fukuoka, Maria Mies, Noam Chomsky, Pierre Rhabi, Joanna Macy, Charles Eisenstein, Rob Hopkins... I am not a fan of conspirituality (conspiracy + spirituality mixed together), though with my profession it might seem otherwise.
I don't drink alcohol nor eat animals, gave up on flying, and have a passion for what is called planetary health. Trying my best to be non-judgemental, but I do admit that sometimes I want to shake some people like banana trees :)
People find me funny. I did clown classes for a year, maybe that's why?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I started being on CS to stay off the beaten track. Now I love CS for enabling to meet people I wouldn't necessarily meet otherwise. After a few bad experiences with hosts unable to grasp the concept of CS, I am trying to be picky here.
Making the world a better place, one couch at a time, right?
CS is NOT a dating website!
Interests
Current red thread is: spiritual activism. How to be anchored into my own ethics and values whilst resisting/fighting for what is right for this world? Not losing myself in disconnected activism nor disconnected spirituality.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Most cherished travel memory: Isfahan (Iran) under a heavy snow.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a curious animal. I want to know everything, go everywhere and meet everyone. It is very likely we'll find something to talk about, do, share, exchange. I like being active so anything involving getting off the couch sounds great to me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A no-couch way of living (ground living). I like healthy food, weird vegetables, and cooking in general. Yoga. Meditation. Movement. Ayurveda medicine (been studying for quite a few years, I know stuff ha!). Philosophy. Politics. Spiritual platitudes and niche books. Ecofeminisms (emphasis on plural). Also, I love stories so why not tell me a few of your travels? Of course you'll also get a couch for when you want to visit my country.
