My boyfriend Fred and I are traveling since September 2016.
We both come from Cherbourg, Normandy, France. We met at school and are together for 9 years now. We had scientific studies, Fred is now an engineer and I am studiing neurosciences, I will be a biology teacher after doing a PhD in neurosciences diseases.
We lived in Caen, Lille, Cluny, Chatillon-sur-Seine and Paris for our studies.
In summer 2016 we decided to take a break and go discover a little part of the world.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

We did a Scandinavia trip (south of Sweden and Norway) of 6 months via the workaway website (in exchange of 25 hours of work a week, host give you food and accomodation).
We are now wanting to discover the UK, by visiting a great part of Scotland in April, Ireland in May and finishing in London in June. We like to discover new places, meet new people and share cultures. We think that, just like workaway, couchsurfing is a good way to do it, meeting people while travelling, and traveling at home while hosting.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

We are both quite easy with music, liking mor e rock and less techno.
We like watching movies (science-fiction, thriller, comedy...) and series, our favorites being Game of Thrones, the Walkind Dead, the Big Bang Theory, Peaky Blinders...
We both really like reading, Fred is more interested in fantasy, I like it too but I also enjoy reading a good polar.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Traveling this year is really amazing, we discovered a lot of wonderful places (Stokcholm before Christmas, the Preikestolen in Norway, ...) and had the chance to see some incredible northern lights in the Lofoten islands, these nights were absolutely magical.
Taking a bath in an iced river in Oslo is probably one of the most amazing things we've done this year.

We can teach you some French if you want to, and give you some recipes because we love cooking. We are interested in a lot of subjects and can share great conversations.

Was ich mit Gastgebern teilen kann

We could share some experiences about traveling and have good conversations. Furthermore, we both like cooking and could then make some nice food with you :)
