I am an avid learner, a thorough teacher, and a motivated maker. My hands are happy when they are creating. I am a giver by nature. I enjoy slowing down and being in the moment.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love books on how to make books. I always bring a copy of Honey and Salt by Carl Sandburg with me when I travel. Bill Bryson is a fun read, and can spend hours flipping through the Foxfire series. I like art books with tipped in pictures. I love libraries. How they smell, the anticipation of not knowing if the book you want is properly reshelved. Making awkward eye contact with focused people.

I am drawn to music festivals.
