ABOUT ME

If you are making a cs request to me, just send me a message, I'm getting very confused with the "couch requests" function!

I love music and try to play, listen and dance to it as much as I can. I also love literature, although I don't seem to be able to find much time to read these days! Protecting the environment and heritage is very important to me.

At the moment I'm lucky enough to be working in heritage, mostly doing architectural surveys, which allows me to explore lots of hidden corners of the country and is never boring. I've recently been working a lot in various hospitality jobs, and occasionally dabble in teaching EFL (mostly for kids summer camps) and working at home on the farm!

Well I have couch surfed on the back of a friends account before which was great fun so decided to set up my own profile and take it from there...

I have hosted numerous couchsurfers, all in my past life in Cork city! The vast majority of people i've hosted have been brilliant. The last couple of years I've been travelling around a lot for work and/or staying at home with my folks so have been unable to offer space to surfers. I've missed it a lot! It's a totally worthwhile experience and I can't wait to get out there both hosting and surfing myself again soon.

Interests

All sorts of music,books and films. Going to gigs, playing music with friends and listening to talented friends play music. Laughing. Making the garden a cool space to hang out in. Hanging out in the garden! Attempting to cook and bake, I'm not very good at either but I have fun and thats all that matters! Conservation and heritage issues. Meeting people with stories to tell. Partying and staying up all kinds of late.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen Macchu Picchu which was pretty stupendous, the pictures don't do it justice ever. Jumped out of a plane. Hmm amazing things done... I once put a teddy bear in a balloon on live tv?!!! does that count?!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can make a seriously good apple and toffee crumble and am willing to share the recipe! I am also well acquainted with the wonders of buckfast and willing to share it. I love learning all sorts of things so anything you have got to teach will be more than welcome. Oh yeah want to learn to tango and speak spanish!
