To see the world and LOVE doing it!! Have as much fun possible, see as many things as possible, in the safest way possible. :)
I just got married, so the traveling will have to be put on hold for a little bit.. :) But this new 'settled down' life is really good too!! I'd still love to meet people from everywhere! Travel vicariously through you.. :)

ABOUT ME

My name is Demara.. I am from Canada, and I love my country. :) I also LOVE to travel. I have visited 4/7 continents, and it is my life goal to make it to all 7 at some point!!
A little about me..? I love reading, music, (I play guitar, piano, drums, cello, and ukelele, and I love to sing) I grew up on a farm, and love the outdoors. What makes me most happy is hanging out with friends, and being surrounded by the people I love. My husband is the most important person to me in the world, and hanging out with him is a very important pasttime. ;) I love travelling, and learning about different cultures. I am a Christian, and it is very real to me. I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and LOVE IT! My faith is the most important thing to me. I love God, I love my family & friends and my husband, I love music and I love traveling and I love being married. Thats about it. :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been somewhat involved with CS for a few years, but have not done as much travelling/hosting as I would have liked, but would love to be involved in hosting more in the future, when I get my own house. Currently, the extent of my involvement is meeting up with other CS-ers in Edmonton and spreading the love of CS to all I meet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed a few times, but unfortunately never loved Ina place that allowed me to host. :( Hopefully soon!! I stayed with a family in Belgium with my cousin, and it was a GREAT experience. We absolutely loved it. Then, we stayed with a family in the Czech Republic, and that was incredible too!!! :) ..We also stayed with a family in Austria, and wow.. I have completely fallen in love with couchsurfing. I LOVE IT! And I hope I am able to host people in the future, and repay the kindness that has been shown to me..! .Someday!! :)

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

-The Great Wall of China!! Incredible.
-Driven across the Gobi Desert in Mongolia.
-Toured the Vencian Islands.
-Explored many historic sites in Europe, including Acropolis in Greece, Rome, the Vatican and the Colluseum in Italy, the Eiffel Tower in Paris, etc etc..!
-Worked as a nurse in Uganda.
-I am grateful for the things I have seen, and so excited for the things I have yet to see.

I am still fairly young, and have a LOT to learn. I probably have things to teach as well, but those are hard to think of.. Here are a few:
-Live in the moment. Take life one step at a time, and appreciate every moment.
-See the beauty in everything! Everything has a purpose, every experience you have, everything you see.
-Love the good experiences, and learn from not-so-good experiences.
-Laugh at the small, silly, everyday things. :)
-Be optimistic.. ALWAYS. It helps!! Positive attitudes. Love 'em. :)
