About Me

Asked my friends and they said I'm pretty alright 😊 But to put it concisely? Friendly, outgoing, open, energy giving, warm hearted and super laid back.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To have an experience that is not in the lonely planet. To surrender to where the wind takes me, delight in the unknown and keep alive the amazing exchange of connection between strangers.

Interests

I love nature, travel, adventure, people and living or working outside above all else. I love having a laugh around a table with a glass of wine by candlelight with good music. Listening to other people's perspectives. Experiencing new things. Huge huge Foodie ie cooking, eating good food/real food! . Prefer to live in nature but admire the beauty of old cities. People in general. MUSIC, gigs, wild festivals ...not the commercial new ones. Cute animals and riding horses. Adrenalin, doing things that scare me. Driving anywhere, though hitchhiking and hikings even better. Movie nights. Understanding about who I am and what that means. Following my Wanderlust and seeing where it takes me with the power of trusting in the universe and being open to all experiences!

Music, Movies, and Books

All of it..too many to list.

However at the moment..., I am Reading a lot of books about alternative living in today's modern soceity. To educate myself so I may live the life I've always wanted. To understand the philosophies, the history and the more practical - 'how to' of it all.

A short concise and funny intro to this would be one I'm reading this minute called:

How to be free by Tom Hodgkinson

A must read for anyone who understands there's more to this life than the system we live under, that there's no need to work so much and why so much consumer culture is crap.

Recently the break through experience by Dr John F Demartini. Everything's in balance yo.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Everythings amazing with the right mind set! Finding the humour in every day and living my life the way I dictate it. Living Simply. Living my Truth and seeking a more enlightened attitude. Not getting upset by anything trivial. Enjoying it when it all goes wrong.

*Travelled the world since I was 6 months old and lived in an eclectic mix of cultures and soceities
*Worked for the incredibly fun company Budweiser all over the UK from London partaking in all the biggest events in the UK.
*Flew off a mountain cliff in a car accident, plumeted 200m and survived making the news with nothing more than a scratch.
*Deported from Australia. Spent 2 months in detention center and met the most wonderful people. Accidental let out on the third day because they thought I was staff and had to bang on the door to get let back in!
*Scoring a job as a manager at cricket club on my return to the UK to then be offered s £5million mansion to live in in one of the most affluent suberbs in london
*Worked on so many amazing farms in Australia. Being flown into work in a sea plane to my remote floating pearl farm.
*Using quad bikes and horses to round up wild bulls for 2 years as a cowgirl
*Delivered a baby
*Delivered 13 puppies
*Live on the outskirts of the system in a anarchist hippie community in Spain, with my x partner who built his little eco home mostly from recycled materials❤️
*Discovering you can live for nearly nothing, recycling from the bin including food (especially at the markets!) and building materials. Money doesn't have to be your primary currency, you can barter with your time and skills/trade.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Great chats, positive energy, alternative viewpoints, adventure seeking, playful conversations, happy helping with housekeeping, great cooking, great company! Not into using couchsurfing as a free ride ie not getting amongst it, or coming home ridiculously late drunk and disrespectful (unless I'm with said host!), that's not my vibe.
