Hey!
I live in Birmingham, UK for the last two years. I moved here for my PhD from Ankara, Turkey. Except the weather, I quite enjoy to live in Birmingham as it has a great balance to be a big city but not too much.
Currently I am learning salsa - I am not very good at it (yet), but I enjoy dancing a lot!
I am also very interested in learning culture and history of the places I visit.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I don't like to be a "tourist" during traveling! I believe observing the city with the people who have some experiences there, is very different. Instead of just looking to things, I want to learn about them.
Ah, also I want to know where best wines are in the city :)
