ABOUT ME

I can't possibly fit all about me in a description but I can try! =)
I'm 21 years old, I've lived in Athens for 3 years and study psychology. I generally love to study and learn about people, cultures, history, cooking, politics, even astronomy! Besides my love and studies in psychology, I enjoy walks in the green quieter parts of Athens and chatting over coffee or a drink.
I also try to maintain my knowledge of spanish and german with classes. I love to dance as long as it's not dubstep, r'n'b or house/techno!
I'm an oldies lover, I love the Beatles, Nick Cave, Loreena McKennit, swing/jazz music, to name a few of my various random music tastes!
I enjoy watching foreign films, especially german, british and independent american productions.
I love reading books as well, I can read almost anything! I have a special love for fantasy and weird books!
I appreciate good humor and sarcasm!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've only recently learned about this community, although all my years I've loved meeting and hosting people all around the world! I'm delighted by the fact that it's a very a trustworthy community so devoted to the exchange of travelling experiences and cultural elements between people. I will be refering this site to anyone I know who fits these ideals and spreading the idea of opening up your house (and yourself) to people from different countries either by visiting or hosting them!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far in my life, I've hosted two people from a foreign country, whom I met through the internet. It was a lovely experience meeting them in person and it brought us closer as friends. I loved learning about them and their background, showing them my city and my favourite places and I was taught a lot about living with others and enjoy the subtle differences that make us unique even through normal every day things, like cooking!
