About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be a sponge for each perspective that my travels bring me into contact with!

ABOUT ME

A mass consumer in reformation, since I have been getting outside the box and my own upbringing, my eyes have been opened to a whole world of possibilities.
I was brought up in a fairly small town in rural Kentucky and ever since I first laid eyes on them, the mountains have been my freedom.
I am a lover of the outdoors and will do most anything to stay out from in front of a screen for any period of time.
I recently finished my bachelor of science degree in biology at Butler University and am working with the Indianapolis Department of Environmental Management for the summer, but hope to escape the state job to a ski mountain and organic farm in Montana come September.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now, I am a new surfer.I would love to have a steady home to host others. It would be a fantastic way to vicariously experience the wide world we live in.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted one great fellow, which was a fantastic experience in sharing, but I have yet to surf myself!

Music, Movies, and Books

Led Zeppelin is my favorite band of all time, though I am a fan of all kinds of good vibrations.
Stephen Kings Dark Tower Series has been one of my favorite reads up to this point.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A young man in India once asked me, "Why do you westerners hate your parents so much?" This question revealed to me the lack of family values that pervades much of the United States.
We don't necessarily "hate" our parents, rather we are socially conditioned to move out of the nest and start our own starkly independent lives. Since this moment, I have embodied a collective mindset in my daily life, and rather than facing this world alone as a selfish individual, I know that we all are experiencing it, together.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Canada, Cayman Islands, Fiji, France, Germany, Greece, Honduras, India, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Russian Federation, Switzerland, Vatican City State
