About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Exploring our shared humanity with Real People thru music, art, laughter and food. ESPECIALLY trying to uncover my superpower. What's yours?
ABOUT ME
Glass is half full and a good laugh makes my day. I wear several hats of an inventor, someone who works at a Farmer's Market in Hawaii, theater actor, amateur musician jamming on the ukulele, singing my heart out, cooking or fermenting just about anything, swimming in the Pacific with turtles most days of the week.
Enjoying my life more and more as I streamline the business side of things - www.paradisekava.com
LOVE what I do for a living, but wanderlust has been hard to extinguish since we're pretty busy at work.
...Backpack's a bit dusty, tents' a bit moldy and it's time to hit the road shortly :)
PHILOSOPHY
As the herculean Gilgamesh first realized his fear of death after seeing a maggot crawl out of his best friend Enduku's nose, He vowed to life a better, fuller life. Time is short and it's best to stay happy and open to the mystery.
As Meher Baba puts it simply, 'Don't Worry, Be Happy'.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Was adopted by a Hawaiian family, in the rural village of Kalapana. We lived very close to an active volcano which flows lava to this day. Many a night's clouds were lit up as they reflected the rivers of lava near by. My adopted family KNOWS how to party. Of the many traditional Hawaiian Luaus (parties) I attended, the most amazing one lasted THREE FULL DAYS AND NIGHTS. The music never stopped. .
Also, this one time, I jumped of the Uma Uma River waterfall into the deep pool where the waterfall dumped insane amounts of water and I probably shat myself during that one.
This other time, I swam almost a half mile out into the Pacific Ocean and would have shat myself if I saw a shark. But luckily, I was spared that experience ;)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you ukulele chords, how to tell a good story, or a dirty joke. Laugh and play music = Life is good! Could teach you some Hawaiian music, how to swim, how to flip an omelet in a pan without spilling more than 50% of it on the floor (trick is to start with 6 eggs so we end up with three) and how to dance while looking as silly as possible.
