Demi from the Netherlands here ;). I'm a zookeeper specialised in all kinds of primates. I absolutely love travelling, animals, nature, photography, music (making and listening), theatre and meeting people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's always nice to meet new people of different cultures all over the world, whether that's in The Netherlands or when I'm travelling myself.

Interests

I'm very passionate about animals. I keep whole lists of all the animals I've seen in the wild so wildlife spotting is one of my main activities during my travels. Of course I also try to take a lot of pictures!
Next to that music is one of the most important things in my life. I've played the guitar since I was nine and later I also started singing.

I have a very broad taste in music. I mainly like rock, indie, singer-songwriter, metal, movie scores and musicals.
Movie genres I like are adventure, fantasy, drama, thriller, comedy, action.
I don't read a lot to be honest, but I really liked the Millennium trilogy by Stieg Larson.
