About Me
I grew up in a small village in Germany pretty close to Cologne and finished college over there. I wasn't sure what I wanted from my life so I decided to go and travel the world and now live in Australia. One day I want to be a teacher for special needs children.
The last 5 years have pretty much been a constant holiday and I am not planning on stopping anytime soon :)
My family is the most important thing for me and I go home to visit or invite them for a holiday whenever possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My first road trip ever through Australia was on a very tight budget and the girls and me ended up sleeping in the car every night for 21 days. At one point we met a really lovely travel agent who ended up offering us to sleep in her spare bed room, which of course we accepted. Since then I try and stay with locals/families in the countries I go to, to learn things about the way they live and their culture, and when I have my own home one day I wanna offer a couch to someone who might be in need of accommodation or a free tour guide :)
Interests
I pretty much love anything that's got to do with being outdoors. Hiking and scuba diving are probably my 2 favourite activities. When I was 4 I started trying the piano, so I love music and arts. I like to learn new things like languages or instruments or just things like skateboarding or surfing ;)

Music, Movies, and Books
Any kind of music is great. I don't really have a favourite type... My favourite movies would be "the life of pie", "the pursuit of happiness" and "UP". My favourite TV show is "modern family" and the best book I've ever read is "the never ending story". I also really enjoyed "the lovely bones" and "gone girl".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 16 me and my family went on a holiday to Mexico and snorkelled with whale sharks. I you ever get the chance to, DO IT!
Teach, Learn, Share
I could probably teach you some German or who is interested show you some great and easy recipes.
I'd love to learn how to surf properly, but I am pretty scared of waves which makes it a bit harder :D Snowboarding is also one thing I have never tried and would love to!
