My name is Dena and I am a senior environmental studies major at Illinois Wesleyan University. My three favorite things are music, chocolate milk, and ducks. I have lived in the same place my entire life. I grew up in the same house my entire life, too, in the suburbs of Chicago. I have never been out of the country, but I love people and new places. I've done about as much traveling as a college student can throughout the state of Illinois, but that's about it. I'm ready to see the world. And all of you beautiful, groovy people.

I'm couchsurfing because I'm studying abroad next semester in the UK. While I am there, I want to see and do as much as I possibly can.

I genuinely think people are good..I like to think there is a whole lot of amazing happening around me whether I can see it or not. I'm hoping to see a fair bit of it when I leave the US in a few days (I can't believe it's actually happening).I can offer good vibes, good tunes, and conversation. Don't be a stranger.

Intereses

Music, cooking, rock-climbing, camping, and being outside. I work at the radio station at my university, and spend hours listening to and finding music. While I am abroad, I would very much like to spend time seeing about some live music. *puts a pair of shades on*

I wish I had something extraordinary to share. I don't think I've done enough interesting things--especially after reading what some of the people on couchsurfing have done. I'm hoping to fill this section a bit more confidently when I'm done studying abroad. Stay tuned.
