About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To engage fellow travelers in cultural exchange and good times.
ABOUT ME
I like to keep things pretty chill though I often have a wild streak about me. I have a bit of experience traveling, but lately I want to incorporate more outdoorsy activities, like camping and hiking. I am fascinated by cultural exchange, which is why I studied foreign languages and linguistics in college. I have a frequent itch to travel and would love to host other surfers when I eventually settle down in one location.
PHILOSOPHY
Never go with assumptions. The world is much different that what our eyes see it as.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Just moved to the big city (well, I can see it from my neighborhood). Once I get my life straightened out, I'd love to host surfers or at least meet up with travelers.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Limited. I hosted a surfer through my old roommate (who is also on couchsurfing.org).
Interests
Travel, duh! Also: Watching foreign films, eating delicious food, lots of food, drawing in my free time, trying to sound like a native speaker even if I can barely speak a certain language, walking around aimlessly in foreign cities for the chance to glimpse something beautiful and unexpected.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I backpacked Italy a few years back, my friends and I went off the beaten path in Capri. We were on our way up to the top of the island to see the famous sculptures, but after turning down the high entry fee, we scaled a wall and found an amazing cliff that overlooked nearby islands. It was a beautiful sight and a profound moment for me in my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
As a flight attendant, I have learned some pretty nifty things. For example, you can clean up a floor spill much more quickly and easily if you skip the towel and stick a maxi pad under your shoe. Another life-saving tip: for the love of all that is holy and pure on this earth, don't walk around the plane barefooted!! I assume 100% of the time that the wet spots on the lavatory floor or anywhere on the plane are not from water....
