HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are living in the middle of the forests and lakes of South-East Finland and have two cottages which we rent to people on vacation - or, if one is empty, friends and colleagues are welcome. See them on www.penttila-gardens.com/. We do not want people to smoke in the cottages.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Of course we've stayed at friends and they've stayed with us. or colleagues have dropped by and stayed in one of our two cottages. No real couch surfing, as is the case here, yet.

Interesses

My wife's interest is in in dogs and friendly people. And mine in art - of course - and buiding findable and good looking websites.

What comes to mind is the first time (just after we moved to our place next to the lake here) we heard the ice, which was forming on the lake, howl like a wolf - across many hundreds of meters and echoing from the surrounding forests. This happens when the temperature drops extremely.

Being a member of a group of international individuals, who are willing to do something for a fellow human being - giving information or even doing something for him/her, just because I'm there where it is possible.
