I'm easy going, I like meeting new people and hearing their tales from their travels. I like to play music with others and rarely leave the house without a harmonica in my pocket.

PHILOSOPHY

I have always hated this question....I don't know what that says about me... maybe I'm just wandering aimlessly through life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Time I updated this bit...I've been on couch surfing a while now and still love the idea. I've hosted a few people and met a whole bunch more.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed couches un-officially for many a year in many a continent. Through couch surfing I've met some good friends and shared some fun times.

Interests

I love being outdoors and in natural places. I have done quite a bit of my trips on motorbikes, through Africa and some in China. I just love the way that arriving at a place on a bike breaks down barriers with people. Sailing is my thing now and I'm looking to do much much more in the near future.

Jupiter's Travel's - this is the bible of motorcycle travel. It's Ted Simon's story of his 5 year round the world motorcylce trip in the 70's...inspiring stuff.
Danziger's Travel's - Another inspiring travel book. Nick Danziger's story of traveling the old silk road.
Jimi Hendrix and Neil Young are my too music heros but The Cat Empire are fast catching up!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Getting into Malawi on a South African registared motorbike having lost all my documents and money. It is amazing how helpful and friendly people can be when you are in a sticky situation.
