Overview
About Me
Where do I start? I'm Bulgarian and I moved to the UK with my family when I was 10 years old. I love travelling (like everyone else on here) and I want to explore as much as I can, getting to know new people, new cultures and hopefully one or two good local recipes.
I'm currently living in Tabio, Colombia teaching English at a local school for a year.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to meet new people and explore new cultures so Couchsurfing seems like a great way to do that.
Interests
I love trying new things and meeting new people. I know that a lot of people must say that on here, but its true! I guess that's why we're on here.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books - my favourite book is Frankenstein by Mary Shelley.
Music - I'm very eclectic so I like a bit of most genres. I've got over 100gb of music on my mp3 player and there must be over 50 genres in there.
Films - I love films!! Again, I'm a little eclectic in my film choices, I love to geek out watching one of the comic book films (Constantine is my favourite), love a bit of action (especially war films), true stories and documentaries are my favourite but whether they're happy or sad, I'm guaranteed to cry. The only genres I tend to stay away from are horror (I just can't handle supernatural stuff like 'the Ring') and romance (as noted above, I cry quite easily when watching films, so why would I want to cry for 2 hours straight?).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I completed the Inca Trail while travelling solo in South and Central America, that was pretty awesome.
I'm also very proud that I got to complete my life long dream of going to Easter Island (the most isolated island in the worlds)!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I've worked a variety of jobs, so hopefully I've got some skills I can use.
I'm pretty good with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel, etc.) as I worked as a pensions administrator for a while. I like being organised and planning things well, so if you need some help de-cluttering or organising yourself, I think I can help.
I worked on a Superyacht so I know 2 or 3 toilet paper origami tricks and that almost everything can be cleaned with a bit of vinegar.
I'm an okay cook (its really not for me to judge). I really like baking and cooking. I took every opportunity at my last office job to try a new recipe (Oh its the Olympics, okay I should make some cup cakes). If you want to teach me any recipes, I'd be more than eager to learn.
