I grew up in small mountains in the East of France , studied in England and Germany , and worked in business for 30 years in Paris . Married for 25 years almost , I have lived with my current wife for 35 years now. We travelled a lot as regular consuming tourists , now we shall travel alone and togther with the aim of meeting people in their daily life and see the real country from inside.

This will be the first time . Main reason is to meet real people in their daily life , outside a business relation of hotel employee and paying guest . If people decide to welcome me in their homes ,probably these people are open and will be interested in my home culture ( Europe, France ) and my various experiences . By definition, I am also interested in the culture of the country where I decided to travel
Secondly , life and accomodation can be a bit expensive in Japan ; Also I /we can afford it sometimes and probably will, as if we shall travel many weeks , cousurfing will be a way to keep the accomodation budget within reasonnable limits .

Decide to leave a well paid job in Paris and resettle in the countryside in the South , work much less and grow my garden in permaculture / according to agroecology.
