Overview
About Me
I'm a Dominican-American who has spent most of my life living in New York City. I recently moved indefinitely to Santo Domingo and am in the process of integrating myself to the culture. I'm a musician and avid reader with a carefree, easygoing outlook of life. Few things bother me, and I don’t have many taboos. I work from home as a medical Interpreter.
I’m in the beach kayaking most weekends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Having a big home for myself can be boring. I frequently host small parties and friends sleepovers, but I love the experiences that travelers bring from outside. Couchsurfing is an excellent opportunity for all this.
I'm not much of a cook, so if you know how to cook, you're especially welcome!
Interests
Guitar/Bass playing, reading, swimming, kayaking, sightseeing, dancing the local music, drinking, netflix, activism, exercising, live music.
Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a Rock/Metal fan with a preference for 80's thrash metal (Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax), Punk (Misfits, Ramones, Black Flag), and Hardcore (Hatebreed, System of a Down). But, as a musician, I'm open to all genres of music.
My favorite movies are post-apocalyptic, dystopian future, and Sci-fi.
Favorite books: Guns Germs and Steel by Jared Diamond, The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins, and A People's History of the United States by Howard Zinn.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have memorized every single capital of the world just for the heck of it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm fully fluent in both Spanish and English. I’m technically a local (or can fit in like one), so I can navigate around and act like I own the place. If you assist with gas, we can visit any part of the DR!
