To gain new experience,from new people,places,different cultures...and I guess the best way to get to know a place is with a local :)

Meeting new people,places,food,beer (I collect cans and bottles of beer from all the places I visit :) ),partying,sports(skiing and cycling especially...the other I usually just watch on TV :)
