About Me
ABOUT ME
… a world wanderer, vegan, an animal lover, travel and outdoor enthusiast (I love outdoors and hiking), a keen knitter, art lover, PhD student of North American culture studies with a focus on Indigenous resistant movements and literatures (eco justice, anarcha-indigenism, artivism, gender violence) ...
PHILOSOPHY
I want equality for all species that inhabit this planet.
I don't like capitalism, an unequal wealth distribution and artificial communities we call “nations”. I believe in an egalitarian society organized on anarchist principles. I'd happily let the Iroquois Haudenosaunee, Noam Chomsky and Ursula Le Guin to revolutionize our current system.
Also, The Lord of the Rings is my Bible ...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Absolutely amazing! Couchsurfing has given me priceless opportunities to meet people from all walks of life.
Interests
You can most likely find me reading a book, studying, writing, knitting, hiking, listening to music, or just hanging around somewhere in the countryside. :)
I'm also a sports fan. I've been playing tennis for many years now and I'd played professional badminton before. I enjoy snowboarding, riding a bike, inline skating and especially hiking - when I see a mountain, I want to climb it.

Music, Movies, and Books
Lord of the Rings is not just a movie or a work of fiction for me, it's a work of art, a masterpiece that I worship ..
As a lit major, I read all the time and a bit of everything. However, my main focus is on contemporary indigenous writers and I enjoy counter-narratives in general (Asian-American authors, African-American lit, etc.)
Recently, I've been reading more political, revolutionary stuff, and anarcho-science fiction (Ursula LeGuin).
Ian Rankin is awesome too!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Impossible to name just one! Trekking in the Himalayas, gorilla trekking in Uganda, flying above Kauai (Hawaii), hitch/hiking in Scotland and Norway, hiking down the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, exploring New Zealand, studying in Spain and in Washington state, hiking in Iceland, climbing Roraima in Venezuela, road tripping in US and Canada, living and working in Edinburgh and many more!!
Teach, Learn, Share
We can practice languages together! I'm always up for learning a new one, too! I can also teach you knitting Central-European style:P
