I am 24 years old, coming from the Netherlands. After graduating last year I decided to travel on my own for one year around Australia. I am an open, energetic, optimistic, trustworthy and open-minded person. I want to experience new things and always try to push myself one step out of my comfort zone. This way I want to learn, experience, become more confident, meet amazing people and make unforgettable memories.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

After my first couchsurfing experience I was very excited about couchsurfing. It makes me happy that there are people in the world who are so openhearted and interested in others and willing to help others out. Someone I met while traveling told me it's all about trust. As long as you open yourself up to someone and dare to trust, beautiful things can happen. I'm on couchsurfing to experience those beautiful things. And learn from others. Because I believe you learn the most by just listening to others and their experiences, thoughts and ideas in life. When my big adventure will come to an end and it's time for me to go back home, I will be very happy to return the favour and open up to other travels who might need it!

I like a lot of different sorts of music. These are artists I listen to a lot lately: Racoon, BLØF, Ed Sheeran, Grace vanderWaal, Causes, Chef'Special, Coldplay, Gavin James, Walk of the Earth, Passenger.

I like to see all sorts of movies or books. I definitely like true stories, fantasy or self developing books.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

- Jumping out of a plane above the Great Barrier Reef.
- Doing an intro dive in the Great Barrier Reef.
- Flying over Uluru and Kata Tjuta in a helicopter during sunset.
-Roadtripping through half of Australia: from Brisbane, to Sydney, through Melbourne and Adelaide to Alice Springs.
- Swimming with seals along the east coast of Australia.

I can teach you a bit of piano playing, ukulele playing or a bit of the Dutch language.

I am interested in learning all sorts of new stuff! I'm curious and love to see things people are really passionate about.
