WHO WE ARE

We are a couple from Argentina that have decided to travel around the world with the purpose of meeting new people, learning about different cultures and discovering new places.

December 2014 was the date when we left our home country to start living one of the best adventures of our lives. We arrived in Australia with the Working Holiday visa, our luggage and a bunch of dreams, fears and excitement. Today we can say that it has been one of the best experiences of our lives so far. During our time in the Aussie land we worked hard, we grown in innumerable aspects, we met amazing people from all around the world and of course, we travelled as much as we could living countless lifetime experiences on the way!

December 2015 arrived and with this the time to leave Australia.
We knew that we weren't ready to go back home... being so close to so many amazing places... and there was when the travel bug just appeared again!! We took the plane with New Zealand as the destination. We spent 3 months traveling around, up, down and through the whole country, it has been the longest road trip that we have done so far and we actually have no words to describe it. So many memories that are gonna live forever in us.

Although our mums were expecting something different, we are heading to Asia to keep adding memories and experiences to our lives.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We have heard that this is the best way to meet new people and learn about their culture through them so now we want to experience this by ourselves! We will definitely be hosts once we are back home!

Interests

We love travelling (what a surprise! ha). We love cooking fresh, healthy and yummy food. We enjoy doing outdoor activities like a simple walk around the markets or why not, skydiving. You will easily find us reading but if it's a rainy day we will also have a good TV show to watch.

DENISE
I can lose myself reading about animals, travels, photography, nutrition and environment - some novels sometimes - or writing a new post for my blog.
I love markets, even if I am not going to buy anything, I can spend hours just walking around. I am a tea person, I couldn't find any flavour that I don't like yet. Last but not least, the only kind of meat that I eat is chicken and fish! I don't eat read meat, pork, lamb etc.

LEANDRO
I love playing football, I have played since I was a child. Big fan of Independiente and of course it doesn't matter where I am on the world, I never miss a match.
I recently added Scubadiving as one of my favourites sports - I got the advanced certification in South West Rocks Australia diving with sharks and a few interesting aquatic animals, it was amazing!
Programming web and mobile applications is what I do for living and I enjoy it a lot so it doesn't actually feel like a "job". I spend time reading blogs, books and watching videos related to that.
My best hobby definitely is learning.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We have actually done two amazing and breathtaking things. Skydiving and Scubadiving with sharks!!
Would we do these things again? Leandro will, I would probably need to think about it!!
