My brother has hosted many couch surfers and introduced me to the concept. I have been to several couch surfer get togethers and really enjoy meeting interesting people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's a great way to make the world a smaller place, and help someone out. I also love meeting new people, and embrace learning about different cultures. My brother hosted a couple from Russia and brought them to my house for drinks. the experience swayed ny decision to host as I love to learn about different cultures and world views.

Interests

Pretty much anything outdoors...music festivals, hiking, golfing, wine appreciation, gardening, skiing, etc.. I took surfing lessons while on a trip in Sydney. That was amazing! Most of all I’m enjoying time with my three teens while they still let me!

Music, Movies, and Books

Love all kinds of music, from Sarah McLachlan to Trans Siberian Orchestra, to country and pop. Depends what kind of mood I am in.

I like reading psychology books as I am fascinated with how the mind works. I also enjoy readin murder mysteries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skied in New Zealand, amazing views! Surfed 10+ foot waves at Manly Beach in Sydney, my favorite beach thus far! Went on a personal mission to find the best paella while I was in Spain, only to realize Spanish paella is different from the American version I have grown used to, so was a little disappointed with my search results.
