Creative, open hearted, sometimes funny, sometimes not, calm, a nature-lover.
I like seeing my friends, dancing, sometimes just chillin at home, cooking for my flatmates ...

I love spending time in my garden, small festivals, concerts, meeting new people, walking barefoot in a meadow, hang out with friends, hiking, beeing on the road, having my family and friends around me, travel the world, books, good conversations, music, the Rhine, forests.

I like the idea of sharing couches, experiences, good conversations and beer :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As a host: I haven't hosted too many people through CS yet, because sadly there aren't too many coming to Schaffhausen. But the ones I have were great.
And our door is always open for friends and friend's friends and also their friends :) So feel free to contact me at any time and I'll see if we are home to welcome you.

As a guest: I was traveling in Scandinavia for about five weeks in 2012 and tried to surf other couches as often as possible. Usually I stayed at someones place for at least 2 nights, so I could get to know my host a little and see something of their cities. And as far I have liked all of my hosts :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

or I've seen...

- Calving glacier in Alaska - it sounds like a thunderstorm!
- Grizzly bears and black bears in wildlife in Alaska and Yukon. Such beautiful animals.
- Killer whales, grey whales and humpback whales on a boattrip in Alaska - yaaay :)
- Thousands of fireflies in the cemetery close to where I live! It's just so magical!
- Northern Lights, I still can't believe it :)
- Skydiving in California (I would never do it again, haha).
- Lie in a meadow and watch the stars (again and again).
- I've seen Hummingbirds in wildlife (yeah it is definitely something special for me).
- Traveling Australia.
- Driving a 4WD on Fraser Island, so much fun.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to use a sewing machine, how to bake muffins, or how to relax all day long in the sun at the river.

And you could teach me some Spanish. Oh and I always forget how to knit, although I've learned it several times...

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to cook something for you, go to the best ice cream place in town, take you for a stroll at the river and of course for a swim if it's warm enough. Introduce you do my amazing roommates and friends and celebrate a BBQ together.
I guess I'm polite, don't fuss and like to have some nice talks and laughs.
