Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met up with people for the first time in Greece and it was great! Friends only have good things to say and I've met many people who were couch surfers while traveling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've skinny dipped in the best lake in the world (Lake Superior), skied on the highest mountain in Austria, witnessed a cremation ceremony in Varanasi, rode a camel and camped in the desert in Jaisalmer, watched a sumo wrestling tournament in Japan, and hiked up a mountain full of hikers' headlamps at 3 am in Korea. Excited to see what's next!

Teach, Learn, Share

If you want to learn some German, I'd be happy to teach you, or exchange stories/experiences of India/South Korea/Austria and other travels in general!

I enjoy learning different languages, learning about playing music, where the best small pub/ local hangout is, and good hiking spots!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can introduce you to the beautiful wilderness of my home town in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I can instruct you in a tidbit or more of the German language. Sharing beer/wine, meals, and personal stories are my favorite pastimes.
