ABOUT ME

I'm a very outgoing person who loves people. I love the opportunities life is allowing me. I have at least one big trip a year, this year it was hiking in the Smoky Mountains and a couple days in Nashville to see Paul Simon. I also have plans to travel to Germany in September and making it to Munich for Octoberfest.

For security reasons I like profiles with verification as in Government ID,address,payment and phone #, I also prefer people with references.

I am a winter Texan and this year will stay in Corpus Christi for a couple months . My new house is done and I live 10 miles east of Lincoln,Nebraska on 5 acres.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I originally joined a few years back when I had plans to travel solo but life turned a different direction and I met travel partner and stayed at hotels.
I met a wonderful man whom I married and we travel quite a bit but usually stay at hotels or friends houses.

Interests

Cooking,traveling,family,biking and hiking. Meeting new peoples and new adventures. I usually like my guests to arrive by 6:00 pm so as I can get to know them before retiring for the night.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a vast variety of music that I love to listen to, my favorites might be Ray Charles,Traveling Wilburys,Chris Stapleton,Ray Lamontagne,John Conlee,Andre Bocelli and Ed Sheeran.
My favorite movie would be the Notebook but usually stick to thrillers , I am currently amused by HandMaids Tale and Walking Dead. I also like to watch cooking competitions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After getting out of a marriage of 40 years,I went traveling for 30 days after my divorce and seen 15 national parks in 30 days which gave me a new and fresh beginning and the thirst for more travel.
