About Me

I'm 24 and still figuring out what exactly my plan is, so I'm open for everything and looking forward to tomorrow and the rest of my life!
I'm a student in business school and I live in Kreuzberg in the centre of Berlin. I enjoy life here quite a lot, since it's a pretty cool neighborhood and it's easy to meet new people. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first heard of couchsurfing back in the summer of 2013, when I was in Canada for 5 weeks. I was visiting a friend there and we were travelling a lot. My friend and I stayed with couchsurfers in Toronto and Montreal and that is how I got introduced to couchsurfing. I found it to be something great and I wanted to be part of it as soon as I had my own place. Now I do... :)
I like that via couchsurfing people can connect so much easier directly with other people, cities, countries and cultures, it's just a very direct and "true" way of travelling. Also it's cheap :D

Interests

I'm into (making) music, hiking, survival/outdoor stuff, good times with friends, good movies and a lot more.

  • dining
  • cooking
  • movies
  • traveling
  • socializing
  • survival
  • music
  • outdoor activities
  • hiking
  • backpacking
  • emergency services

Music, Movies, and Books

Obviously I like my own music ;D
But other than that I listen to anything from Metal to electronic music or Hip Hop.
My favorite movie is "Into the Wild" by Sean Penn, it influenced me a lot.
Unfortunately I'm the kind of person that doesn't read a lot, although they like it when they do. So there's not really anything special I'd recommend. Right now I'm reading "Civilization and its discontents" by Sigmund Freud. I like his stile and his ideas!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In summer 2014 my buddy Matthias and I crossed the Black Forest by foot following the "Westweg", from North to South. 300km-11 days-25kg backpack. We had all our food in our backpacks and slept in our tents. That was probably the most challenging thing I ever did in my life and it definitely was amazing. I'm glad I had Matthias with me, that way we could push each other through tough times :D

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not exactly sure what to write here so:

What I'd like to learn: how to surf, how to cook new food, all those things I don't even know about yet...

What I can teach: e.g. playing the bass ^^

What I can share: my place and my food I guess :D

No really, I'm open for everything new and if there is any way that you can learn from me or that we share amazing experiences I'll be happy!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can make some good meals and I like to have long inspirational conversations. Like...about the eternity of the universe and shit :D
