Hello, salut, ciao everyone! My name is Denis. I am an ordinary student that loves adventures. Before coming to Italy, I was studying bachelor course in my hometown - Kazan city, located in Russia. My french friend once told me “Omg, you are from the middle of nowhere”. Today, I study Master programme at Politecnico di Milano. My campus is located in Lecco.

Neither hostel or hotel can provide you with such experience and emotions as Couchsurfing can. CS became an inseparable part of my adventures. People are rather essential pieces of my travels. I have so many things to do sometimes... As a result, I love everything that helps me to relax during this XXI century routine. Dancing to club music invisibly turned into enjoying chill-out music. Wild parties changed to contests jumping off a pier. This is also valid for other activities. Taste changes.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

In 2018 I decided to participate in the New Year promotion provided by Russian Air Company "Pobeda". The main idea was to travel anywhere for free if you were dressed up like a Santa. I had no plans at all for my holidays, but I had a giant drive to explore something new. On 30th December I bought a costume for 2 euros and told my parents I'm heading to an airport. Unbelievable, but it worked. I have visited Berlin, Hamburg, Nice, Genova, and Milan... I met nice people and made new good friends during this trip. I believe that such kinds of promotions change one's mind. And the whole world becomes a little bit better.

Every single person is unique. All of us have our own experience, understanding of life and balance. That fact always amazes me. For me, it's more than exciting to explore one's genius.
