Hi guys, since I'm new in Couchsurfing I don't have any references so I would like to have your time to introduce myself :)

I'm Deniz from Izmir/Turkey, working as a production engineer in Vestel. I've just graduated from Istanbul Technical University. I've lived in Istanbul for 6 years then moved to Izmir.

When it comes to my hobbies, I am completely a nature lover. I love jogging by seaside and thanks to location of my place in Izmir I can do it everyday, I love trekking away from cities and enjoy the nature, on a sunny Sunday being in a nice big park with your dog and friends is the best weekend activity for me. Addition to these regular activities l'm addict to traveling, I always try to travel when I find free time.

Now, I would like to briefly mention my personality. I am very open minded , easygoing, talkative, positive and cheery. I have really strong bonds with my family and friends of mine. Even though I am far from them , I always keep in touch with them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hello everyone!

I started travel around the world 5 years ago. And I really love exploring new places and meeting new people. I have learnt that if you really want to explore a place you should spend your time as a local .

Well, because of my job I don't have too much time to travel ( only 2 weeks in a year ). So I want to spend this time to see places that I've never been before. Since my time is so limited hanging with a local makes everything easier, quicker and more enjoyable. Addition to this I really would like to meet people from different cultures.

So Couchsurfing is the best way being involved in such a cultural exchange. These are the reasons that makes me a part of Couchsurfing community.
